The Project Manager is a critical position that is key to the Company’s growth and corporate strategic initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Construction and is expected to have a significant organizational presence. Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions include: Communicates directly with contractors/designers concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling. Prepares project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications. Assisting the Director of Construction in the planning, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. Proactively solve problems with hands-on approach. Prepares reports for Director of Construction on status of all services provided for specific projects Assists in the coordination of all personnel: vendors, contractors, etc., necessary to complete the project Understand and enforce company safety rules and procedures. Participating in subcontractor and owner meetings when necessary Preparation and delivery of closeout and warranty information Knowledge of principles of project management for building construction; theory, principles and practices of engineering and architecture related to design and construction Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to job site by working with purchasing department. Regular dialogue with labor superintendents, project foremen and office staff. Build long-term customer relationships by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions. Provide consistent feedback and reports to Management. Additional duties as determined by Director of Construction. Co-manage multiple projects with a high degree of proficiency from Job Start up to Job Close out. Review and/or assist with project proposals (RFP’s). Coordinate activity of projects to ensure goals and objectives are met. Work with team on Cost Breakdown/Project Budgets. Interface with clients, architects, interior designers, superintendents, subcontractors of various trades, vendors, and other employees of our Project Management Teams. Provide Accounting department with necessary documents needed for accounting. Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications Minimum of five years with progressively increasing responsibilities in Project Management experience required. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field required. Experience with popular SaaS tools (Google Drive and SalesForce), MS Office Suite and ERP systems required. Bilingual - Spanish/English a plus Demonstrated proficiency in attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple issues effectively and a quick learner. Must possess an infectious positive demeanor and professional ethics. Attributes: A team­ oriented professional that is adaptable, solution ­oriented utilizing experience and creativity. Proven ability and desire to work effectively, delivering accurate results under tight deadlines. Must be a highly motivated professional with a keen sense of attention to detail and an analytical thinker. An open attitude and an eye for emerging technologies in the construction industry a plus. Must be a ‘hands-on,’ proven, effective voice that garners trust and loyalty from team members.
