Release Technical Project Coordinator

Position Summary:

Euronet facilitates the movement of payments around the world and serves as a critical link between our partners – Financial Institutions, Retailers, and Service Providers – and their end consumers, both locally and globally. The Release Technical Project Coordinator provides software application support and project execution for the point release upgrade and reports to the Client Services Supervisor. This position ensures the project remains on time and helps to motivate project team members and customer to meet their goal. Serves as liaison with project team, customer, project manager and management to ensure that all project goals are accomplished according to requirements and business objectives.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related academic field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience, preferably in a banking, programming, or technical service environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide software application support for customers during the point release upgrade project.
2. Work with the customer and project manager to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
3. Assist project manager and customer to develop project plan, timeline, and track project performance to ensure successful point release upgrade.
4. In conjunction with project manager, document, and track upgrade issues to ensure complete and prompt resolution.
5. Participate in testing activities of software where required
6. Provide relevant training material on point release modifications and updates
7. Assist with upgrade consultation for internal and external customers
8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial or electronic funds software software
2. Ability to read technical requirements and relate them to the business needs of the customer
3. Strong attention to details and ability to work independently when required
4. Knowledge of AS/400, iSeries platform and OS/400 operating system
5. Demonstrated training and presentation skills
6. Knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Visio and PowerPoint.
7. Ability to work and interact within a team environment as well as independently.
8. Demonstrated communication skills including strong listening and comprehension skills especially with non-native English speakers.
9. Ability to plan and prioritize schedule
10. Occasion after hours as necessary and weekend support for go-live events
11. Prefer knowledge of RPG, CL, or Java/SQL programming language
12. Knowledge of ITM, Euronet Software suite of products beneficial
13. Bi-lingual is a plus
