Essentra is hiring! - Industrial Sales - We have an immediate need for an Outside Sales Rep. for our Los Angeles, CA Territory.

Job Summary:

This role will work closely with both the OEM Sales teams, and the Express Sites to drive revenue in our Los Angeles, CA territory. Additionally, this role will be responsible for establishing contact with new and existing customers, identifying new opportunities, following up on potential leads, and pre-call planning.


3 to 5 years prior Outside Sales Experience – Industrial sales experience preferred

Strong listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

Prior use and knowledge of CRM, Salesforce preferred and technology tools (iPad, Excel, Power Point)

Responsible for generating leads and driving revenue … New business Hunter

BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field preferred


  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Research accounts, cold call, and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Conduct calls, and face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects daily
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or repeat customers via SFDC
  • Educate customers/prospects on how Essentra’s products can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
  • Visit current customers quarterly
  • Forecasting sales, developing pipelines, and evaluating their effectiveness on a monthly basis
