Sheeter Operator

Essentra Packaging Inc is the leading full-service designer and manufacturer of printed packaging components. We are looking for experienced machine operators to complete our Sheeting team. This position works a rotating schedule on 12 hour shifts, 7pm - 7am.

This position supports the production process by providing materials and sheets according to customer specifications. Primary responsibilities include operating the Sheeter machine, making adjustments, troubleshooting, setting up rolls and staging product for next stage in the process. This position also accounts for materials used and waste created during jobs.

Experience Required:

• at least 1 year of large machine operation including computer-based setups
• prior experience operating a fork truck and/or clamp truck
• operating and maneuvering large materials and machinery

Prior print/packaging experience is a plus, but not necessary. This position will perform setups, maintenance, troubleshooting and maintain production levels by minimizing downtime.

• Arrive at work every scheduled day, on time, prepared and ready to work
• Flexibility to changes in schedules and job orders
• Attention and willingness to avoid shortcuts and assumptions
• Possess a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate and perform basic math skills
• Abilitiy to push, pull up to 70lbs, lift and carry up to 50lbs
