Job Description: Student Services Coordinator
Position Type: Full-time (Monday through Friday) August 1-June 30
Report to: Principal

Qualifications:
- An Associate Degree (minimum requirement)
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience
- Highly organized
- Proficient in basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Google docs, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent spoken and written language/communication skills in both English and Spanish with the ability to translate verbally and in writing.
- Authentic support of culturally rich and linguistically diverse learning communities
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
- Experience supervising students
- Experience communicating with parents
Responsibilities: Specific areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Graduate Support Program
? Build and maintain supportive relationships with our partner schools at the high school level
? Support transitions for students at 8th grade by helping to arrange school visitations, fill out applications, apply for financial aid, register for testing and complete the registration process
? Inputs and maintains student data of the progress of our graduates
? Hold High School night to familiarize families with possibilities (7th & 8th)
? Be the point of contact for all scholarship organizations including but not limited to Daniels Fund, Challenge Foundation, Porter Billups
Main Office
? Contact with a diverse group of constituents including students, staff, current and prospective parents, current and prospective donors, vendors and the community at large, either in person or via email or phone
? Manages the newsletter communication for parents and Jupiter Program
? Attends administrative team meetings regularly
? Attends sick or injured children and other activities that support the smooth daily operation of the school.
? Assists school’s RN and front office coordinator with managing medications and appropriate paperwork; obtains Medication Administration training if needed
? Accepts payments and keeps an organized tracking system in cooperating with the Business Manager.
? Translates documents in English and Spanish
? Provides a Monthly Attendance and Tardiness Report to the Principal
? Meets with the Principal weekly who will delegate projects to work on as they come up
? Staff Development Days: Coordinate with the Principal on organization and set up the Staff Development location. Order or buy lunch/breakfast in advance to ensure timely delivery.
? In coordination with the Principal, create the calendar for the new school year
? In coordination with the Principal, update the Librote and El Librito for each school year
? In coordination with the Principal, fill out various reports requested to the school such as Title I, and Archdiocese reports
Additional duties:
? Substitute teachers in case we don’t have at this moment a substitute to cover the class.
? Supervision duties include helping with dismissal, snack, lunch, and recess when needed, especially with Kindergarten.
? Supervising PK siblings in the afternoon and ensuring they go home with an authorized person.
? Attend all faculty and staff meetings on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:45 to take notes and email to all faculty.
? Help other staff members with morning drop off and afternoon pick up.
? Flag Duty in the afternoons with 8th grade.
? Learning Lab with Middle School
? Organize community service Sister Susan Swain Service Day
? Set up of the projector, speakers and microphones during the prayer services, internal events etc.

e. Participate in the school Open House and other school events
