Job Description

Equus Capital Partners is seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual for an Analyst position with the Acquisitions and Asset Management teams of its Scottsdale office.  The Financial Analyst will support senior management with all the analytical and transactional aspects of acquisitions, asset management and dispositions including due diligence, market research, financing, financial reporting, closing and preparing leasing, operating and capital analyses.

Key Responsibilities

·        Create and analyze sophisticated cash flow models relative to underwriting investment opportunities

·        Prepare asset performance reports for upper management on a quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis, including but not limited to: quarterly cash distributions, quarterly investor reporting, mid-year valuations and budgeting

·        Ensure all operational information is appropriately captured and current in the ARGUS models for investment assets

·        Communicate effectively and timely with property managers, property accountants and leasing brokers to gain information needed for detailed reports on the financial performance of investments

·        Coordinate and perform due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions

·        Assist in writing internal and external Investor Memorandums

Required Skills:

·        Bachelors Degree with a concentration in real estate and/or finance

·        Proficient in Excel and ARGUS

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Highly organized with the ability to multi-task concurrent projects

·        Applicant must have a strong financial aptitude and a desire to learn the financial particulars of real estate
