CDL Driver

Equix Infrastructure Renewables group is expanding operations and is requesting qualified candidates to join our team. Equix is a full-service EPC renewable contractor pursuing wind and solar projects throughout the United States. We have an immediate opening for a CDL Driver. This is a great opportunity to not only provide CDL services, but also gain valuable experience related to the installation of solar and wind renewable energy projects!

Responsibilities:

• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles
• Turn in proper documentation to its designated office daily
• Maintain a clean environment in the inside and outside of the truck
• Conduct Pre-Trip inspection of truck and trailer
• When not performing CDL work, candidate would be required to assist with various labor functions related to solar or wind installation work
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Driver License with good driving record
• Class A CDL required with good driving record
• This position will require frequent travel and candidate must be able to travel to other states
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience commercial truck and trailer combinations
