Your Impact and Responsibilities:

As an Assisted Living Sales Counselor at Epworth Villa, your role is crucial in making our purpose, "Enhancing Lives so People Thrive," a reality. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Admission Expertise: Oversee admission paperwork and evaluations in close collaboration with our Clinical Team, ensuring a seamless transition for our residents.
  • Empowering New Residents: Facilitate the gathering of historical medical records for admissions, working closely with our MDS coordinator to ensure that the appropriate records are obtained.
  • Building Connections: Play a pivotal role in identifying potential admissions through consultation with other clinical professionals, and notify our AL Administrator of any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Streamlined Transportation: Organize transportation for all new residents, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
  • Community Outreach: Market Epworth Villa to home health agencies, hospitals, and other retirement communities, expanding our Assisted Living prospects.
  • Creating Partnerships: Take the lead in marketing to case managers and discharge planners, forging strong relationships with potential referral sources.
  • Mentorship: Share your experience and knowledge with new staff during their training to help them navigate the AL admission process with confidence.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other staff members, fostering a team approach to care that ensures our residents' diverse emotional, social, cultural, and religious needs are respected and addressed.
  • Continuous Growth: Attend staff in-service training to stay updated and continually enhance your skills.
  • Guidance and Reporting Structure:
    • The Assisted Living Sales Counselor at Epworth Villa reports directly to the AL Administrator and maintains an indirect reporting relationship with the Marketing Director. This unique reporting structure ensures that you receive guidance from both an experienced leader in assisted living services and our Marketing Director, offering you a comprehensive perspective on your role and responsibilities.
    • Your dual reporting relationship fosters a collaborative environment where you can leverage the expertise of these two professionals, allowing you to excel in your position and contribute to the ongoing success of Epworth Villa.
Qualifications for Success:
