WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Tooling department, theTooling Technicianwill help to fabricate, assemble, and repair various types of composite mold tooling. The technician will work with a variety of composite materials, hand tools, and power tools such as grinders, saws, and sanders. This is aGreatjob for you if you have some basic skills (hand and power tools) and are looking for a career you can grow with.Other expectations may include:

  • Use dimensional measurement tools
  • Lay-up composite materials
  • Vacuum bag and consolidate materials
  • Read blueprints, templates, process sheets, and other authorized documents
  • Develop shop aids to facilitate fabrication of composite parts
  • Perform repairs
  • Maintain electronic and paper records as required
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM (Requirements)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is helpful
  • Proficientand comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Able to take accuratemeasurements.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of quality
  • Must work well independently and in a team with a great attitude
  • Open to new ideas, challenges, and learning opportunities
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
