Epic Aircraft, based in beautiful Bend, Oregon, is the leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance, all-composite, six-seat single-engine turboprop aircraft. We're seeking talented and creative individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in the aerospaceindustry.


  • Mid-level up to Experienced Avionics position in Aircraft Maintenance
  • Wage: $27-$35/hr.
  • On-the-job training and advancement opportunities
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
  • Three (3) weeks of paid time off (Includes a Paid Week Off Between Christmas and New Year)

As a member of Epic Flight Support, TheAvionics Technicianwill repair, modify, install, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance of all Avionics systems with accuracy and minimal assistance. The technician will need to interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents.Other expectations may include:

  • Fabricate, upgrade, and routewire harnesses according to Engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform some avionics installations and set up
  • Disassemble, assemble, and adjust electronic equipment
  • Perform system specific software loading
  • Properly use Avionics hand tools
  • Take immediate corrective action regarding unsafe conditions
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Required - Avionics Experience (schooling or work experience)
  • Required - Experience with harness making and or modification
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate preferredbut not required
  • Knowledge of other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, flight controls and major components helpful
  • Basic knowledge of avionics tooling
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot basic problems
  • Proficient with using hand tools
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to follow CADdrawings & electrical schematics
  • A "can-do" teachable attitude with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
