Job Description
The Manager of Sales & Business Development will lead the business development team strategy incorporating financial analysis, research input, and stakeholder parameters. This individual will be accountable to build and manage partnerships through coordination of regular partner meetings and business reviews and reporting partner performance to the leadership team.




  • Lead generation, prospecting and customer servicing
  • Proposal preparation, cost estimation, rate negotiations and closing the deal
  • Identify, research and evaluate new business opportunities, establish contacts with clients to understand their business needs
  • Determine client business requirements and identify which solutions meet those needs.
  • Represent Eos at Trade Shows, in client presentations, seminars and other forums
  • Partnership development, specifically with EPC companies, system integrators, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who can package, integrate, install, support, and brand energy storage solutions using Eos batteries or battery systems
  • Development and execution of long-term supply agreements supporting aggressive year over year sales targets
  • Interfacing with Eos and partner personnel to coordinate and support product definition/specification, testing/qualification programs, and marketing initiatives
  • This position will support the development of robust scenario-based financial models projecting capital requirements, profits and losses, cash flow, balance sheet, and return on equity investment. Product and warranty pricing analysis will be conducted to understand and plan around corresponding capital requirements
  • This role will also support interactions with potential or existing investors, lenders, and insurance providers. This may include activities such as identifying and triaging potential investors or partners, preparing materials for and leading meetings, refining pitch decks, managing and tracking contact with investors and partners, helping to coordinate the due diligence process.


  • Strong, successful 10 years’ Sales experience selling big ticket large capital equipment solutions in complex industry with extended Sales cycles
  • Preferably experienced in Energy Storage, Solar/PV, Wind or other area of Renewable Energy
  • Good understanding of the energy business, renewables market, solar, wind, power generation/transmission industries
  • Skilled at developing long-term relationships with major industry players Developers, Utilities, IPPs, Asset Owners/Managers and negotiating complex long-term contractual partnerships
  • Experienced in coordinating Due Diligence and project development activities with cross functional resources, peers, and outside consultants to ensure project is progressing in accordance with schedule
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Effective communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills
  • Ability to travel within U.S. (50%)
