Job Description
Position Overview:
We're looking for someone who is leader and is both business process and technically minded, and can drive
collaboration across organization structures. This role will also involve a hands-on approach to own and
scale our cross product development processes and will need to be a self starter, and use a friendly,
flexible approach in a process-light environment.
What You Will Do:
Lead program & project concept definition and execution across the Engineering function
Lead collaboration across organization boundaries to build end to end commercial solutions
and Engineering capabilities
Be able to develop solution requirements by working with various stakeholders
Partner with the Engineering Manager and various other teams for prioritization of work
for team backlogs
Understand and manage the scope of work in the backlog
Manage projects, scrum teams, sprints, reporting using agile SDLC methodologies.
Ensure adherence / compliance with existing standard operating procedures
Enhance the project management processes, tooling, and templates to improve the
operating model maturity of a product development organization
Facilitate technical trade-off decisions in product development with engineers
Discuss and present technical matters with Commercial stakeholders and commercial
matters with technical people
Be able to drive and explain your team’s analysis to executives
Be comfortable operating with uncertainty, know how to create order from chaos
Build credibility and buy-in from teams without authority
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of Program Management experience in an agile software development organization
Experience in managing team roadmaps and capacity while also managing backlog
priorities, sprint planning and sprint releases
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets,
Confluence/Jira, Planview
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience delivering and supporting a major software release
Excellent balance of interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills
Ability to evangelize and represent a technical community
Proven experience in leading globally distributed teams
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
Experience in program/project planning and process improvements
 SAFe Agile experience/training, Agile coach, Scrum Master
Ability to act as a scrum master and /or agile coach to define and manage project
requirements/exit criteria, assist in high level estimations, break down large, complex
requirements into clearly defined epics and stories, assist teams to sequence into sprints
and deliver incrementally following agile methodologies
Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify
complex technical information for non-technical people
Understand architecture diagrams and be able to work with Technical Leads and Architects
to drive the creation of high-level architecture, where multiple systems are interconnected
and created by multiple teams.
Proven ability to negotiate and problem solve, navigating complex situations and ambiguity
Experience managing and tracking budgets
Business Analytics & Reporting skills needed for data driven decisions and team/project
Solid interpersonal skills - building trust and facilitating collaboration across all teams
Strong relationship building/partnering skills with global cross functional teams and the
ability to work with varying levels of individual contributors and management.
Experience managing and delivering end user expectations
Ability to motivate, inspire, and influence the team to deliver stellar products and quality
Energetic self-starter who’s passionate about professional integrity and excellence while
working with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks, prioritizing
time appropriately
Ability to influence peers and managers while dealing with ambiguity – create order out of
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Lead and adapt to change
