Job Description

Our client is seeking a Product Manager  for a location near Nashua, NH to report to a Division Sales & Marketing manager as a member of a global marketing team, and work closely with Pricing, Sales, Operations and Marketing Communications teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturer of components and subsystems serving the medical, diagnostic and analytical instrumentation industries. Products consist of valves, controllers, electronic components, manifolds and pumps. This is a hybrid role, with ability to work onsite 3 days and work from home 2 days of your choice.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong analytical background and experience in Marketing, Business, Finance and/or Engineering, specifically in a high performing strategic planning, or a finance environment with demonstrated financial and business acumen and a high level of curiosity around customers' needs to translate those into clear and concise business strategy to promote value-based solutions. 

For this role we are seeking a person who enjoys solving problems and driving results and impacting the business. Our client is seeking the curious, innovate individual who is diverse in thought and experience.

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business or Related Business Management. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in business, sales, marketing, finance or related fields specifically in a high performing strategic environment.
  • Experience in B2B and the Life Sciences industry is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform in depth data analyses
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts associated with a product portfolio


  • Product line responsibility (product, promotion, pricing, and positioning) for the product portfolio
  • Development and implementation of product line growth strategies
  • Monitoring and driving marketing communication needs for product line in support of growth strategies (promotions, catalogs, social media, web presence, etc).
  • Investigating the market needs for innovative products
  • Collaborate with Engineering to appropriately prioritize product development efforts for the product line.
  • Market research through trade associations, internet investigation and Corporate services.
  • Support of field sales and distributors as required to drive sales of the product line and maintain Divisions premier customer service position.
  • Ownership of the creation of business cases to support new product development programs and work closely with the Engineering team to execute the project and with the sales and marketing teams to commercialize the product
  • Develops/performs product line training for field sales, channel partners, and customers.
  • Maintains high level of applications knowledge.
  • Monitors competitors and competitive products. Leads the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies.
  • Develops and leads IME strategies (existing product innovations/modifications/extensions).
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer/channel locations for technical support and training.
  • Monitors sales and margin results and recommends appropriate corrective actions
  • Monitors product and market trends and recommends appropriate actions
