Environmental Incentives seeks to hire a Sr. Recruiter to join our team. As the Sr. Recruiter, you will work at our Washington, DC office, or remotely, as you implement Environmental Incentives' recruiting and staffing strategy to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent. Working closely with business leaders, you will develop integrated talent solutions that balance the achievement of business goals with team members' development.
As the Sr. Recruiter, you will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with hiring managers, identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing and screening, and ensure a positive applicant and new hire experience. Developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies are primary responsibilities to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent. In addition, you will:
Oversee successful implementation and continual improvement of EI’s full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are maintained throughout.
Consult with leaders, hiring managers, and the human resources team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies. Provide input into the overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals.
Coach and build capacity of hiring managers and teams on topics related to EI’s recruitment process and recruitment best practices.
Continuously develop networks and partnerships to actively build a database or pipeline of candidates and the EI company brand.
Devise and implement sourcing strategies at career fairs, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) alumni groups and professional networks, and 40+ job boards, including those focused on geography, women, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI), and LGBTQI+ (e.g., Professional Diversity Network, Black Women in Development).
Place and update all job postings in various Media including internet sites, Circa, colleges, social networks, community boards, and staffing partners.

Minimum Education and Experience
These qualifications are considered the minimum necessary, and we expect you to bring more than the minimum listed.
Relevant Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience designing, developing, and supporting talent management programs
Full lifecycle recruiting experience (federal or USAID program support preferred)
Experience with Human Resources information management systems, including Applicant Tracking Systems
SHRM-CP; SHRM-SCP; or SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential
Experience developing job descriptions and reviewing requisition requests before posting
Experience recruiting staff and consultants in the environment, natural resources, and international development sectors, both domestically and internationally
Experience in applying a DEI strategy to recruitment by identifying and supporting underrepresented talent
Experience with sourcing diverse candidates with an eye for equity and inclusion
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact with internal and external contacts
Ability to manage workload and adhere to a prioritized schedule to meet deadlines
Knowledge of FAR, SCA, Davis Bacon, OFCCP, EEO, ADA, and other general employment laws
Modify quickly to changing priorities and interact with all levels of management
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Familiar with key tools such as the "The Structured Interview" for DEI forward recruitment to mitigate implicit biases (e.g., affinity, stereotyping, or conformity biases)
Base Station and Covid-19 Policy
The position will be based in Washington, DC. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the position will begin remotely.
Proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 or legally authorized exemption is required for all Environmental Incentives employees working in the United States, regardless of office location or remote work. Selected candidates will be required to provide proof of full vaccination before beginning employment with Environmental Incentives. Full vaccination is defined as 2 weeks after the final dose of the requisite vaccination.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is $90k -$100k per year. Environmental Incentives also offers a competitive benefits package that includes generous annual leave, holiday and sick time, retirement plan options, professional development opportunities, health coverage, and more.
