Position Summary

Entrinsic bioscience, LLC is currently searching for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to be based full-time in our Norwood Mass. Office (NO EXCEPTIONS). The successful candidate will be highly entrepreneurial, thrive on collaboration, and possess deep technical, hands on expertise of what it takes to deliver an amazing customer experience while building and scaling up a profitable e-commerce business.

Areas of focus: technical integration & functionality, online revenue, engagement and insights, conversion and retention, data & analytics, performance marketing, technology, and project management. This is not a “content only” job or a “manage an agency” job. This is a hands-on, e-commerce focused, digital marketing job requiring advanced technical skills. We have witnessed the explosive growth impact that focus on the technical side of things can have on sales when combined with great content. We need our own in-house digital marketing technical guru to propel the business to new heights!

Initial emphasis will be on significantly accelerating enterade’s online sales via an integrated e-commerce strategy synergistically integrating all elements of the digital ecosystem, including website optimization, social media marketing, Amazon marketing, SEO, Google advertising, etc.

Digital Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead our e-commerce business with a compelling strategic vision that is in alignment with customer initiatives, product growth plans, and revenue goals
  • Develop digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence.
  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Oversee daily web operations; Consistently analyze, measure, and provide actionable insights on relevant KPIs, metrics, and site effectiveness—sales, methods, costs, results
  • Leverage data, analytics, and site behaviors developing customer insights to optimize and recommend our web experience—understand who our customers are and how we can best serve them
  • Partner with Marketing team to align on important initiatives and messaging resulting in greater customer value delivered through a strong brand voice
  • Work with marketing team to develop and implement e-commerce business plans that deliver sales for own sites and Amazon. Ensure open communication about the measurement of financial and product performance against stated milestones and goals.
  • Improve profitability and engagement by designing and implementing CRM initiatives to acquire, engage, and retain customers.
  • Collaborate to create customer and top-line growth strategies across digital channels—SEM, SEO, performance & content marketing.
  • Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
  • Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks to recommend strategies and tactics.
  • In partnership with IT and Market teams, continually look for ways to enhance the customer experience, define and prioritize site features and functionality, maximize site usability, and increase KPI performance.
  • Provide thought leadership, innovation, and process optimization as it relates to ecommerce software and other industry best practices.

Digital Marketing Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of the technology ecosystem that supports an ecommerce business, including but not limited to analytics, SEO, and product information management tools, fraud management solutions, order management systems, product review platforms, experience management, etc.
  • Strong Amazon ecommerce skills, experience, and track record a must - - we need an Amazon ninja with a deep understanding of how to drive Amazon sales!
  • Expertise and experience using Ecommerce platforms and tools such as Amazon Seller, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
  • Proven leadership of large e-commerce projects and digital transformations.
  • Hands-on with strong business acumen; proven leadership in revenue management with outstanding analytical skills.
  • Thoroughly understands how to capture and assess customer interaction and conversion and translate those insights into optimization opportunities.
  • Proven expertise in optimizing social media targeting. Enterade is highly responsive to Facebook advertising and we believe that further target optimization and continuous fine tuning will deliver exponential impact on sales.
  • Proven ability to influence technical teams, business partners, company leadership and vendor partners.
  • Demonstrates creative thinking and problem solving with a strong sense of urgency and ability to respond to changing situations; Track record of being able to prioritize efforts based on ROI and around shifting strategies.
  • Ideally has experience across sales, marketing, technology, and product management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers.
  • 5+ years building and managing digital commerce businesses and teams with a proven track record of delivering on business objectives and sales targets.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Self-motivated yet customer/patient-focused
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Able to develop budgets
  • Familiar with financial planning and strategy

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • US work authorization (Required)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field (preferred)
  • Ecommerce platforms and tools: 5+ years (Preferred)
  • Technology ecosystem that supports an ecommerce business: 5+ years (Preferred)
  • Genuine passion for ecommerce and all of the technical operations work that drives it
  • Robust working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
  • Proven Amazon mastery a must.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
