Job Description: Senior PMO / Mid PMO / Junior PMO Duration: Full Time/Permanent Location: Irving, TX Senior PMO Location: Irving, TX Responsibilities: Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs. Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships. Directs the creation of multiple programs of work and manage their alignment to business goals. Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management. Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work. Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives. Works with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives. Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program. Assists program team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the program can be completed. Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis. Directs the identification of risks which impact prAogram delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary. Manages multiple teams or a functional area (depending on size of business). Applies comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area. Ensures creation and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log. Ensures program plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents. Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities, understand the program schedule and key milestones and receive schedule status regularly. Ensures funding has been approved for the program. Ensures all areas of the program are appropriately staffed. Ensures program commitment from those assigning resources. Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate. Ensures vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants. Maintains appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs. Exercises shared responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning. Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: PMP Certified (Agile/Scrum a plus) 10+ years of experience Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders Critical thinking and problem solving skills Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree Mid PMO Location: Irving, TX Responsibilities: Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports. Interfaces with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding status of projects. Recommends and oversees process improvements. Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards. Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership. Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives. Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services. Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work. Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) or equivalent work experience 6+ years of Program or Project management experience, working within a PMO or technology delivery function with experience in organizing, analyzing and visualizing enterprise data to enable data-driven decision making and actions. While this experience is preferred in the context of a PMO, demonstrable capability and experience within other domains will be considered. 3 + years financial services experience in Enterprise Risk or Finance will be a definite advantage. Consulting experience is preferred but not required. PM Industry knowledge or experience preferred, PMP a plus. Six Sigma/Black Belt certification is a plus. Primarily, the individual needs strong skills in program management/planning, presentations and communication. The individual should have highly proficient skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (including Pivot tables), and MS project, have the ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced, environment, take initiative/ownership and take on various assignments/roles. PMP Certification is a plus Experience with Information Security Programs is a plus Junior PMO Location: Irving, TX Responsible for the daily execution of significant projects within a focus area and resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes. Full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables. May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees, but will not typically have formal management role. Manages one team (consisting of support staff and/or entry-level analysts). Full leadership and/or supervisory responsibilities. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area to resolve issues. Ensures creation of project plan and charter benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log. Ensures resources are assigned to project & monitor commitment. Ensures change control is executed throughout project. Identifies, documents, and understands project dependencies Identify key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition. Tracks actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as needed. Measures project management performance against standards. Ensures appropriate project staffing levels. Establishes project communication needs and create project communication plan. Creates the project risk management plan. Partners with cross function peers to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience in successfully managing complex projects and programs which include external suppliers through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support Experience in managing technology efforts through the complete solution delivery life cycle (SDLC), and familiarity with SDLC best-practices Demonstrated ability to independently lead program work on a global large scale level. Exemplary written and oral communication skills which can be leveraged to consistently succeed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Experience in genuine Program management during which s/he applied a structured approach (methodology) to the successful management, tracking, planning, monitoring and reporting of concurrent, multiple financial services projects spanning broad geographies and organizations. Experience with enterprise program management tools Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management Individual should be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, have good interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task Technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience in any of the following fields a plus: Financial Services Technology,
