Position Summary:
Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and software for use in commercial, industrial, and aerospace purposes. Subject matter expert, specializing in appliances and mechanisms used in interiors of executive jets. Provides leadership in work ethic, habits and methods.

Essential Functions:
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, planning and estimating skills using Enflite processes and methods
- Capable of managing people, interacting with everyone, growing and developing others
- Create a vision for the future of our products and processes.
- Designs electrical and electromechanical equipment, components, products, and systems for aerospace VIP interiors with only general direction as part of a cross functional team.
- Substantiates electrical designs through analysis, modeling and testing.
- Creates test plans and performs tests of electrical equipment.
- Participates in design review meetings, phone calls, and face to face meetings with customers.
- Supports Enflite operations by troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Plans, organizes, schedules and budgets work and projects.
- Great understanding of electrical engineering principles and component usage.
- High proficiency with DMM, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers and other electrical equipment
- Thorough understanding of PCB board fabrication, assembly and testing methods.
Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Experience with Technical Standard Order product development and certification process.
- Experience with EMI/EMC and Do-160 requirements, strategies for a compliant product and test methods.
- Experience developing and completing designs within Do-254, Do-178 DAL D requirements.
- Creates system requirements using ARP4754A and System Safety Assessments with ARP4761
- Experience with 28VDC, 115AC single & 3 phase variable frequency input power.
- Experience with embedded C, bare metal programming, embedded OS.
- Familiar with PID controls.
- PCB Schematic and Board Layout experience with Altium / OrCAD.
- Experience with communication standards RS-232, RS-485, ARINC429, CAN, SPI, I2C.
- Ability to take a given set of requirements and turn them into a finished design.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience designing power supplies, EMI Filters, capacitive touch interfaces, thin graphical displays in high temperature zones, fail safe circuitry, fault detection strategies.
- Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 10+ years of professional experience; or
- 8+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
