Position Summary:

Oversee Operations encompassing the functions of Customer Service, Order Management, E-commerce, IT, Logistics, Fulfillment, and Facilities in North America.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Works with individual department operational leaders to budget and monitor all expenses for responsible departments
Provides forecasts and projections timely to ensure fulfillment center resources are aligned to meet monthly company revenue goals
Measure and maintain departmental metrics, analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements as necessary
Confers with the Senior Leadership Team to formulate and set strategies, policies and performance targets for their areas of responsibility
Work to seek improvements to process, technique, and execution, as well as adoption of improved systems and or tools to assure maximum functional profitability
Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
Ensures Operation stays aligned with Finance, to ensure timely accurate reporting and insightful analytics for use in forward looking decisions.

Facilities

VP of Operations direct reporting position in place
Spearhead the acquisition and implementation of new technologies relating to Telecommunications, Reprographics and Facility Management that services the needs of the entire organization
Direct and oversee space planning resulting in increased efficiencies both inter-departmental and corporate-wide.
Develop annual capital and operational expense budgets relating to North American facilities
Assist with special projects relating to IT, Customer Service and E-Commerce

Information Technology

VP of Information Technologies direct reporting position in place
Lead technology efforts that support business initiatives
Ensure investments deliver planned ROI
Ensure IT Team stays current in skills and technology trends; for example cyber security

Logistics, Order Managements, and Customer Service

VP of Operations direct reporting position in place
Works with department leave to oversee 325,000-square foot 3PL pick-and-pack warehouse
Maintain metrics by processing documentation and customer SLA statistics
Analyze financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers
Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies
Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services
Recommend, plan, or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes
Analyze Customer Service Metrics, establish key performance indicators and drive improvement

E-commerce and Business to Business Website

E-commerce Manager direct reporting position in place
Works with department leader to oversee direct to consumer E-commerce and B2B websites to ensure messaging and policies are aligned with company vision
Develops and maintains budgets for online marketing efforts for Google and social media platforms
Ensures third party applications for site functions and payment options are up to date and in line to meet current consumer needs

Experience, Competencies, and Education:

Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
6+ years of Operations leadership experience
Experience leading IT teams
Excellent written and oral communications skills, works effectively with outside vendors
Ability to lead and meet project deadlines within budget
Intermediate word processing skills, intermediate Excel
10+ years of supervisory experience in retail/wholesale/eCommerce
