Empower Physical Therapy is a privately-owned outpatient clinic seeking a part-time women’s health therapist with potential to grow into a full-time position. We provide the highest level of quality care and customer service for all outpatient needs. Including rehab following sports and orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, regenerative medicine, concussion management, post-surgical, and much more!
Our women’s health program covers prenatal, postnatal, pelvic and orthopedic conditions. We are passionate about helping women to have pain free, fit pregnancies, strong recoveries after birth, and smooth return to all their fitness and lifestyle activities. We also offer treatment for pelvic health conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, post mastectomy, and chronic pelvic pain throughout the lifespan, and orthopedic complaints. We are looking for a compassionate and energetic women's health/pelvic physical therapist to add to our team! Our ideal candidate has completed beginner and intermediate coursework in prenatal/postnatal and pelvic floor/pain assessment and treatment, is excellent at determining patients' needs, and possesses extraordinary communication skills to motivate women in achieving their goals. 1+ years of experience with women's health and 2+ years of experience with general outpatient orthopedics is highly preferred (time may overlap). The therapist must be flexible between working both with women’s health and our outpatient clinic patients.
We are happy to accept applications from therapists who do not yet have beginner/intermediate level training completed. - Evaluate and treat patients
- Communicate treatment plans with patients
- Patient notes completed on time using an EMR
- Market to local providers/events
- Communicate with referring providers about current patients POC
- Degree in Physical Therapy (required)
- Current state license in Alaska (preferred)
- Beginner and intermediate coursework in prenatal/postnatal and pelvic floor (preferred)
Job Type: Part-time (potential to grow into full-time)

· Women’s Health: 1+year (Preferred). Additional training can be negotiated into CME allowance.
