Industrial Maintenance Supervisor

Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all buildings and equipment.
Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.

• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Inspect all buildings and equipment regularly to identify potential problems.
• Make recommendations for repairs and improvements.
• Comply with all applicable safety regulations.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules.
• Order and track maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance departments.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferred BS or AAS degree in Electronic Engineering, maintenance, or equivalent graduate. (Formal Engineering/Maintenance Training highly desired)
• 5 years in a maintenance supervisor role within a manufacturing/Distribution facility.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical/electronic required (PLC Instrumentation/Controls, HMI, Industrial Electricity, Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic.
• Ability to inspect the equipment, recognize potential problems and take appropriate corrective action to prevent component failures or downtime.
• Conveyor Systems experience 
• Excellent verbal communication skills - (English Spanish) (read and write)preferably
• Must be able to interpret reporting of maintenance issues.
• Interpret control diagrams. Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance plans, tools, spare parts inventory, and the machine shop used in general maintenance and repair.
• Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision.
• Computer skills
• Bastian solutions are preferred.

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, there are requirements for lifting, standing, and walking throughout the warehouse; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.

Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
