Job Description Regional Sales Director - Kansas City This person will focus on bringing new clients to Employer Advantage. He or she will hunt for prospects, develop a relationship with potential clients, assess their needs, create service proposals, and ultimately help companies become the clients of Employer Advantage. Successful sales directors have strong prospecting skills for reaching the owners of small and medium businesses and a deeply analytic approach to preparing the business proposal for these prospects. This person will be based out of our office in Overland Park, KS but spend much of his or her time out of the office meeting face to face with prospects.

He or she will need to become extremely knowledgeable about HR, payroll, benefits, and risk management in order to understand client needs and sell EA’s services. This role is not leading a team but working a salesperson representing EA in the greater Kansas City area. On-target commissions will account for at least roughly half of this person's income. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Continuous learning about our industry and how to refine our sales approach Develop and maintain referral sources Travel to potential client sites Establish a relationship with potential clients to gather required data for assessment and proposal Compile/prepare/submit data for assessment Analyze prospects existing HR operations, benefits, workers' comp insurance Develop compelling value propositions for each client POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education - Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent experience Experience - Minimum of 3 years of B2B outside sales experience required and 3 years of experience selling to small business owners Computer Skills - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, the Internet and the ability to learn industry-specific software ADDITIONAL DETAILS Compensation - Base salary with commissions based on sales performance and full benefits Company Description We work with business owners to solve problems in the areas of HR, workers' compensation, risk management, benefits, and payroll.
