Sales Administrative Assistant

Employbridge Search Group is currently recruiting for a Administrative Assistant in the Richmond California area.  The Administrative Assistant for Sales will be responsible for building relationships and selling products to customers via the phone or mailings. The Administrative Assistant  will assist the Sales Managers with communication to the customers working closely with different department to help achieve company’s business goals.
  • Managing and updating the customers’ database.
  • Assist with billing and collections.
  • Research and problem solve client issues.
  • Manage any deductions.
  • Review sale efficiencies, drawing up action plans in agreements with the company sales strategy
  • Set up and carry out sales plans and sales objectives.
  • Manage the sales agreement.
  • Manage customer costs versus budget
  • Branded Products: Trade Marketing Program; Promotions; Logistics Costs; Etc.
  • Private Label Products: Packaging Creation Costs; Etc.
  • Assign the Sales Managers to the Customer
  • Manage the regional sales budget: review gaps between forecasted budget and actual, report any discrepancies to expenses and recommend Action Plans accordingly
  • Working closely with the Sales Manager and other departments
  • Assist the sales team to build their routage, expenses report ; planning 
  • Prepare monthly customer reviews, meetings, etc., coordinating information within departments
  • Provide progress reports on customer needs, problems, requests.
  • High School Diploma, Associate’s or bachelor’s degree considered.
  • 3 years Inside sales or account management experience
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to carry out tasks
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office 365, Excel and PowerPoint skills
