As a Clinic Support Specialist (Patient Concierge), you are part of our Urgency Room support team and your passion for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and guests contributes to our high level of customer satisfaction. You might provide support for room preparation, a blanket, or other assistance. Whatever the task, you will engage directly with patients and medical staff with a helpful and compassionate focus and tone. You will also occasionally support our brand by participating in our promotional events to share our commitment to quality care and services to the community. We are hiring for our Eagan, Vadnais Heights, and Woodbury, Minnesota locations. Work hours average of 8 to 19 hours per week.

The Urgency Room is open 365 days so shifts may include weekends, holidays, and mixture of day and evening shifts. This is a non-benefit eligible position.

Purpose: The Urgency Room provides un-scheduled ambulatory acute care medical services. The Clinic Support Specialist (Patient Concierge) is a patient concierge role focused on increasing patient experience, patient satisfaction, and supporting our clinical and non-clinical teams within the facility. The Clinic Support Specialist (Patient Concierge) will assist and engage where necessary to meet the needs of the patient, their families, and guests while in the facility allowing medical staff to focus on patient medical care needs. This position supports clinic operations with restocking and room preparation for the next patient. The position will also work to promote our brand and build awareness through interactions with existing patients on-site as well as new and prospective patients at promotional events throughout our communities. Our goal is to leave a positive brand impression on consumers both inside and outside of The Urgency Room.

Key Result Areas: The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Support patient experience by engaging with patients and guests while in the facility
  • Provide non-clinical assistance such as greet and room patients, tidying and restocking patient rooms, round patient rooms offering blankets, beverages, snacks, or other concierge services
  • The ability to be personable; interact and connect with patients and their families at our Urgency Room facilities and at events throughout the community
  • Other related duties as assigned

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Entry-level position, with a strong interest in healthcare and customer service
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service
  • Ability to prioritize multiple activities and follow them to completion
  • Ability to adapt and engage with a wide range of clientele
  • Understanding healthcare and its impact on the community
