Windows Network Administrator 

Are you a Security master? If so, my local client is looking for you to join their IS Network Security/Infrastructure Administrator team!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the IT Team and analyze and resolve security breaches and vulnerabilities related to the network, and its associated applications and hardware. Additionally, this position is responsible for handling matters related to confidentiality, and participates in areas and duties including but not limited to security audits, analysis of disaster simulations, email audits, web usage audits, and other duties as prescribed.


This role involves:

  • Server maintenance, upgrades, installation, and creation of virtual, Barracuda, Apache, JBOSS, SAN, FTP, SFTP, and FTPS servers.
  • Creates, Supervises, and Maintains the FTP, SFTP, and FTPS servers
  • Manages network administration and maintenance
  • Designs, develops, tests, modifies and analyzes IT systems based on system design specifications.
  • Researches, tests, purchases, and updates 3rd Party software and tools.
  • Oversees electrical throw over.
  • Administers Windows systems updates.
  • Controls Microsoft SQL user access.
  • Implements NAMP setting changes.
  • Maintains scanners.
  • Determines network systems capabilities, security, policy, and compatibility with client systems.
  • Administers implements, maintains and monitors VMWare, EMC Celerra SAN, HP Nimble SAN, Exchange, SharePoint.
  • Manages SSL Certificates (VeriSign).
  • Assists FICO updates and HOT fixes to test and live environments.
  • Creates, maintains, and supervises Cisco IronPort S160.
  • Identifies, Defeats, Disables, and Removes security threats (Viruses and parasites).
  • Authors and tests Disaster Recovery Plan and IT Policy; works with Marketing Communication Manager to ensure document style and format standards are met.
  • Co-authors, reviews, and approves all technical ISO and SSAE 16 policies.
  • Monitors and approves all upgrades.
  • Monitors CISCO Phone system.

Required: 10+ years of experience in the IT industry as a Systems Administrator.
