Team Member, Tipped Position

Emerald City Smoothie in N. Shoreline (next to Costco & Home Depot) is hiring for a part-time, Team Member as a Smoothie Barista. We are a positive and hardworking team committed to providing our customers with excellent customer service, efficiency and a quality smoothie every time.

We are seeking upbeat individuals with customer service experience.

Duties:

• Hand making smoothies with fresh ingredients for our customers
• Operating a Cash Register
• Prepping ingredients
• Washing Blenders
• Stocking Retail shelves
• Providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Previous Customer Service Experience of at least 6+ months
• Barista experience a plus
• Can lift 40 lbs
• Has a positive & friendly personality
• Good at getting details correct
• Able to be successful in a fast paced work environment
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay:

• The pay range of $18.00-23 per hour includes the combination of $13.50 per hour wage + tips (tips will vary by store volume & your service, this range is based off tip averages over the past 12 months). We cannot guarantee tips, but this range has been calculated off of actual tip averages.
• For example, if you had a $6 per hour tip average for last pay period, your total average pay is $13.50 + $6 per hour so a total of $19.50 per hour is your total average hourly pay.

COVID-19 Information:

We are open for Take-Out and Delivery. We provide masks for employees, shields at register and at the pick up station. We are wearing gloves at the register.  We are wiping down high-touch surfaces frequently. We are doing daily temperature checks and limiting the number of customers in store at one time.
