The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for all intake functions related to durable medical equipment, home medical equipment and supplies. Including customer service, order intake, delivery set-up time request, and processing supportive documentation/paperwork etc. Maintains electronic patient medical records and supports the billing process. The Intake Coordinator is the main contact person for patients/families and the referral sources.
Qualifications for Intake Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- 2 - 3 years of directly related experience or 2 - 3 years of medical office experience (including knowledge of insurance plans, authorizations and patient care.
- Advanced on computers and excellent with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service
