General Purpose:
The Human Resources Leave Management Coordinator is responsible to provide support to the Human Resource Department and assist all staff members with Human Resources related requests and issues around leaves of absence. All employees consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as Leave Management Coordinator for Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and all other approved leave requests (e.g. paid family leave (PFL), medical leave of absence (ADA), military leave, etc.).
- Process FMLA/LOA/STD/LTD/ADA requests.
- Provide support to employees when explaining the leave options.
- Provide support to employees for explanation of benefits (EOB).
- Provide support to field leaders as it relates to coordinating employee leaves of absence.
- Coach/counsel field leaders on human resources functions as they relate to policies/procedures involving leaves of absence.
- Data enter appropriate performance management information into HRIS database.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year related experience preferred.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
