Intern: UX/UI Front End Developer

Eluvio is the content blockchain for the creator economy. We are a fast growing start-up based in Berkeley, CA. We are looking for a Front-End Developer intern with mobile-first UX/UI Design skills to join us for the summer. This is a paid internship. This role will support bridging the gap between design and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio demonstrating strong technical skills and a passion for user interaction with a strong eye for design.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Execute design tasks as assigned by the UX/UI design team including translating Figma designs into reusable, succinct, performant, and scalable code for mobile and web experiences.

Requirements

• Front-end UX/UI design development experience
• A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles on web and mobile (plugins, node packages, etc.)
• Experience in CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools
• HTML5 experience and knowledge of its best practices
• Proficiency using Git version control
• Proficiency working with Figma
• Detail oriented and organized
• Collaborative work style
• Want to contribute to building decentralized systems
• Comfortable presenting new ideas and concepts
• Passion for learning and helping others to learn and grow
