Elsa L, Inc., is an established and successful designer and wholesaler of home decor products specializing in photo frames, wall mirrors, photo albums, and functional home décor products. We are entering a rapid growth mode in our account base and are looking for retail savvy, highly organized, and sales driven Department Manager to support the expansion. We are currently seeking a full-time department manager, to manage, coordinate and communicate with the sales internal/external team, reps and some key accounts. In this key management role, you will be the main facilitator between the external sales team and all internal departments to aggressively support all new business development. You will become an expert on all of our retailers and their requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Manage in house sales administrative support team
-Drive and manage overall Sales timeline for product development and sales
-Support all key accounts development to maximize sales potential and growth
-Identify areas for customer service improvements to help sales team build key relationships in major retail markets
-Develop and execute strategies to support sales team in generating new business
-Ensure outstanding and timely customer service to all customers
-Drive top line sales goals working with sales team
-Develop professional and well-prepared sales presentations and sales meetings
-Be sales data driven, analyze and identify market trends, competition and opportunities
-Be knowledgeable and passionate about our product and how it can fit within each retailer.
-Communicate clearly and follow up effectively with external sales team
-Communicate clearly and work within the internal departments processes
-Gather and review retailer’s data to build appropriate product assortments to help maximize sales
-5+ years sales experience preferred within same or similar industry, with emphasis on administration and sales support.
-Considerable knowledge of and experience with sales and sales administrative principles and practices as they relate to the retail marketplace.
-Highly organized and able to manage and deliver on multiple timelines
-The ability to zoom in and out between big picture strategy and macro process required by each retailer
-Experience working with large volume retailers
-Understanding of retail channels, inventory management, and supply chain a plus
-Exceptional organization and communication skills; deadline-driven a must
-Team player and ability lead and to adapt to changing retail priorities with professionalism and nimbleness
