Business Analyst Technical

Description

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and advice to clients throughout all technical stages of implementation projects. The Technical Business Analyst focuses on solving both basic and advanced technical problems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educational & Proficiency level: Professional with a minimum of three to five years of experience in software technical experience in banking environment. Loan origination preferred.
• Technical knowledge: Technical degree with experience in Scripting and cloud-based applications.
• Strong analytical and technical skills. They should be able to be writing scripts, review comm logs, sequel, basic database architecture and administration.
• Knowledge on REST API, JSON will be very helpful. Data Conversation experience from on perm to cloud will also be useful.
• Others: Analytical, organized, team player and able to work in a multicultural environment. Some travel entailed.
• Soft skills: Attention to details, curious to know how things work and willing to dig deeper and do their own research. Organized and ability to multitask. Bold and confident to ask questions.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Master the job duties and is gaining exposure to more complex technical problems. Still occasionally directed in several aspects of the work; however more straightforward tasks are accomplished without assistance. Has acquired general proficiency in the tools, systems, procedures required to accomplish the job.
• Support in setting up the technical architecture and tools.
• Assist with the definition of additional standard enhancements that need to be developed.
• Lead efforts as needed for troubleshooting performance related issues utilizing standard troubleshooting methodologies to isolate the source of the performance issue.
• Undertake any development activities that may occur during the implementation such as additional specific functionality, interfacing to external systems, or conversion programs to be built.
• Validate technical setup and conduct necessary testing to ensure user acceptance and quality of the solution delivered.
• Provide clear and concise technical documentation for internal and external use.
• Provide regular update and feedback on implementation success, potential delays and technical problems that could arise.
• Provide guidance and assist Implementation Specialists.
• Liaise with the development team to ensure that the product problems encountered by the client are understood and resolved.
• Perform such other duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required
