Job Description
The Executive Director, Implementation Services is responsible for Elligo’s technology service team, which ensures the successful solutioning, implementation and use of Elligo’s technologies to meet customer, study, service line and patient needs.  The role has people management responsibility for clinical systems analysts, solutions engineers and product support staff.  The role also includes strategy development, assurance of exceptional customer service, sales support, project management and process engineering.  This is a critical and influential position to ensure Elligo’s technologies are used to achieve customer clinical trial needs.

  • Leadership
    • Approach tech services and implementation with an entrepreneurial mindset and be passionate about enabling the digital study / patient / user experience in Elligo’s technology platforms.
    • Lead and mentor a service team that is as passionate as you are about customer service, digital transformation, process innovation and technology usage to support Elligo’s mission.
    • Build strong partnerships with leaders across the company to influence digital strategy and effective workflows.
  • Process management - Implement, maintain and continually improve processes relating to solutions engineering, systems configuration, acceptance testing, training and support.
  • Solution engineering - Ensure effective solutioning and rollout of study and patient recruitment workflows to support project needs.  Includes analysis and solutions engineering work.
  • Project management - Manage projects and revenue-generating work including building timelines, recognizing work complete, documenting change orders and leading a project team to successful completion.
  • Sales support - Lead sales presentations to customers, practices, physicians and other stakeholders.  Includes crafting budgets, proposals and sales materials.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Produce quality work while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 8+ years of technology, project management and/or systems implementation/ service leadership experience.
  • Experience leading projects and customer work to successful completion.
  • Progressive work experience in software related healthcare or high technology industries.
  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums (visual, written, verbal) that bolster your decisions with focus and brevity.
  • A service and solutions mindset including out-of-box thinking.
  • A leader that can inspire others to use technology in innovative ways to achieve the company mission.


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Little travel is required for this position.
