Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our Medical Malpractice Defense team at our Manhattan office! Ideal candidate will be self-starter looking for an opportunity to develop litigation skills, including taking plaintiff depositions and defending physician depositions.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in court
  • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
  • Advise clients on business and legal transactions
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations

​​Qualifications:

  • 2-5 year experience defense litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice
  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • Excellent research, writing and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective and efficient problem solvers with the ability to work independently and proactively
  • NY bar membership in good standing
  • Former ADA or judicial clerk experience a plus
