Who You Are
You will be in the field installing, repairing/replacing, troubleshooting, networking devices/security devices. Must have hands-on and recent experience working for an integration or networking company.
Our dedicated Field Technician works with the Director of Service and Installation and the NOC team to install security systems for our Clients. You will be installing and configuring camera systems for Clients in the Los Angeles area to ensure that their expectations are being met and exceeded.
Responsibilities and Duties
We are seeking professionals that have a proven record of success in servicing and installing equipment on client sites. Specifically, we are looking for team members that will:
+ Provide service needed for security camera systems, including troubleshooting functionality of the camera and replacing when it?s needed.
+ Perform proper diagnosis and repairs regarding door system controls.
+ Log all on-site field interactions with accurate time and detailed information.
+ Provide timely and detailed service reports of on-site resolution to proper staff/management.
+ Perform visual checks of hardware equipment while on site and report any possible issues, including recurring problems, to Proactive Technologies staff members.
+ Update client system information.
+ Advise clients on appropriate actions to prevent technology performance issues.
+ Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution and confirm client is satisfactory with results.
+ Identify and escalate situations requiring additional attention.
Qualifications and Skills
+ Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (Routing, Ports, TCP/IP, Network analysis tools).
+ Additional experience with Security Camera and video programming is preferred.
+ Good understanding of Windows Server environments.
+ Commitment to excellent customer service.
+ Must demonstrate the willingness and capability of multi-tasking by prioritizing several duties, tasks, projects and/or responsibilities at one time.
+ Able to work with minimal supervision.
+ Excellent communication skills.
Must have skills and knowledge to allow for successful prioritization of multiple projects and the ability to clearly communicate and present project requirements/timelines.
