The Director of Marketing, reporting directly to the President & CEO, is responsible for the implementation of the marketing strategy for the entire ELITE organization. The goal of the Director of Marketing is to increase member engagement and retention through all marketing mediums through innovative, consistent, targeted, brand-focused and engaging content that highlights ELITE's vendor partners and company philosophy.


Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Member Engagement: Develop an ongoing marketing strategy and calendar for member engagement to encourage retention and engagement through social media, email marketing, website, and other channels.
  • Project Management: Manage the Company's project management system (Monday) to ensure that all projects are assigned to members of the operations team for completion of projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Email Marketing: Manage the marketing calendar for membership emails. Write and distribute all marketing emails and implement an account-based marketing strategy to ensure that all dental specialties receive consistent communications with an adequate representation of all vendor partners.
  • Social Media: Manage the social media calendar for public facing and private Facebook pages, LinkedIn, and other social media as they are developed. Create all content and work with Visual Communications Manager for design and consistency of branding.
  • Exceptionally ELITE: Managing the Employee of the Month, Practice of the Quarter, and ELITE Expert programs, including creating emails, conducting interviews, ordering and sending gifts, coordinating presentations, social posting, and all other activities associated with the programs.
  • Blog Posts, E-Books, and Other Marketing Collateral: Develop marketing collateral to include content to be used for educational purposes to be used in emails, social media and on the website with relevant topics. Write all content, interview vendors and subject matter experts, and facilitate project management and distribution of collateral.
  • Podcast: Work with the CEO and VP of Operations to develop a podcast strategy, brand, schedule, content, and platform for a pod cast.
  • Metrics: Measure marketing performance through metrics from systems such as WordPress, HubSpot, Facebook, and other marketing platforms to ensure campaign success.
  • Website Content: Regularly audit and correct website content for consistency in brand guidelines and working closely with the operations team to ensure vendor program accuracy. Create all content for the website, including for new vendors, vendor promotions, and all other website pages.
  • Webinars: Scheduling, facilitating, and hosting webinars with vendors for company campaigns such as educational events for members and for CWA planners. Creating all content and coordinating with the Visual Communications Manager for the preparation of all presentation materials.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Facilitate all aspects of planning and coordinating company events, meetings and trade shows including the CWA annual meeting, promotional items, sponsorships, marketing collateral, booth, etc.
  • Providing support to the President & CEO as needed for other marketing initiatives and for partner companies.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM applications (preferably HubSpot)
  • Experience with a project management system (preferably Monday)
  • Social media experience, including project management and content creation
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Adept skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe, WordPress

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or similar required
  • 4+ years of marketing experience required

Travel

Out of town travel with overnight stays may be required 1-2 times per year.


Work Environment

This is an in-office, full-time position, but may be considered for a hybrid position with 2-3 days as work from home after a 90-day probationary period. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and bend or stand, as necessary.
