Job Description The Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for leading brand communications, continuously enhancing the brand image, increasing brand awareness, and providing sales support through advertisements, media, point-of sale, partnerships, and relationship marketing. The Branding & Communications Manager will also be responsible for developing a strong brand name and image. Responsibilities: Develop a strategy with high quality and high impact communications that enhance the culture and brand, engages, and informs employees throughout the company and ensures they are aware of corporate news, performance metrics, vision, values and updates.

Integrate and incorporate PR, Marketing to the communications strategy to ensure alignment. Empower employees to be brand ambassadors. Implement communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organization.

Develop an integrated digital communications strategy, including marketing automation to drive and track engagement and lead generation Develop relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage in print and digital publications. Write press releases for local, national, and international media. Edit press releases for international syndication ensuring stories translate to different international markets.

Monitor press stories relating to the company and its brand and maximize opportunities for positive media coverage and mitigating negative news stories. Ensure consistency in tone and brand across all current and future communications. Develop and lead the companys internal communication strategy, in collaboration with Human Resources and other internal stakeholders when needed.

Ensure brand compliance across all internal departments and stakeholders. Oversee the annual communications budget and ensure its use is fully maximized. Ensure all team members provide high quality customer service, monitor the delivery of the brand direction, and recommend areas of improvement.

Create and implement a long-term communication strategy, produce a yearly commercial content calendar plan, liaising with marketing leadership about marketing related issues, to cultivate a positive working relation with them. Act as the brands spokesperson with media relations. Execute all the companys approved trade and customer engagement events, working closely with customer marketing manager.

Formulate and implement public relations strategies, select, and manage communications with external agencies, as well as develops media marketing strategies and other non-campaign activities. Select and manage third-party suppliers to achieve on-time delivery of projects within the budget. Develop and manage a digital asset management approach, and archive and make available the latest sales tools.

Provide strategic input and direction for the brand, developing style guides, templates, and other materials, developing non-campaign brands while keeping the companys vision, mission, and objectives in mind. Advise internal and external stakeholders on issues relevant to the brand. Organizational Alignment: Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.

Closely coordinate company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate. Key metrics: Meets assigned expectations for profitability, top-line growth and scalability. Brand awareness improvement and recognition in existing and new markets.

Brand awareness metrics within existing and new markets. Budget-adherence and performance of outsourced services. Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in sales, communications, marketing and/or related field or 5 years of related work experience. Experience working with maritime or other similar industry. Superior attention to detail to ensure campaigns that accurately capture both the companies' and customers' needs.

Ability to develop new ways of thinking about a problem, to provide an effective solution. Strong technical skills, including experience with CRM, marketing automation, digital marketing tools and channels, and B2B marketing. Be able to multi-task, do market research and analyze results effectively, prioritize and influence stakeholders, understand the target market and its dynamics.

Other Requirements Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines Ability to travel up to 30%, including international travel.
