Juvenile Justice Residential Licensed Clinician

Youth Services

Eliot's 24 hour secure program for court-involved adolescent males ls seeking a Licensed (LMHC/LICSW) Residential Clinician.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and family therapy weekly in accordance DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures

Participate in the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans

Provide case management and advocacy for youth as needed

Facilitate curriculum based treatment groups in DBT, Substance abuse, and Risk Reduction

Schedule:Tuesday- Saturday 9am-5pm

Pay rate: License-eligible: 49,500; Independently licensed (LICSW/LMHC): 52,250

Requirements

Master's degree and be licensed eligible OR possess an LMHC or LICSW in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work with experience working with the adolescent population. A knowledge base of clinical issues of children and adolescents affected by bio-psycho-social stressors. A working knowledge of DBT or ability to complete an on-site 20 hour computer based training. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

We oversee residential programs for young children and adolescents in the custody of the Department of Children and Families, residential treatment programs for youth mandated by the Department of Youth Services, and residential, day, social and vocational programs for adults with mental illness, brain injury and developmental disabilities. Eliot also provides outreach, community support and case management to homeless individuals throughout the Commonwealth. Eliot is funded and serves individuals referred by Managed Medicaid Organizations, Commercial Insurers, the Massachusetts Departments of Children and Families, Developmental Disabilities, Public Health, Mental Health, Youth Services and the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission.
