Position Summary:

Elevate Surgical proudly represents Arthrex products and surgical techniques. We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven Distal Extremities & Trauma Orthopedic Sales Representative to join our team in San Diego.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Arthrex Trauma Product Line within accounts and providing expert consultation to healthcare professionals and surgeons. The ideal candidate should possess a problem-solving mindset, thrive under time constraints, and uphold high standards of integrity. Additionally, flexibility and adaptability to non-traditional working hours are necessary, including on-call availability during nights and weekends with short notice. The role offers a unique and dynamic lifestyle and is well-suited for individuals who embrace diversity and the unpredictability of the job. The successful candidate will be motivated by the mission of improving patient outcomes through the sale of Arthrex products and support of surgeons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other key stakeholders in the orthopedic field.

• Promote, educate, and consult customers on Arthrex solutions in an intense operating room environment where conditions rapidly change.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.

• Effectively address any product-related issues and provide guidance to medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and other staff members, on the appropriate usage and upkeep of our product.

• Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide valuable feedback to the company.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including medical education and sales leadership, to provide exceptional customer support and drive business growth.

• Attend and participate in industry trainings, trade shows, and professional development events.

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

• 1-2 years of medical device sales experience preferred but will consider other experience.

• Extremities and Trauma experience preferred.

• Willingness to work long and unpredictable hours, including being on call on nights and weekends.

• Knowledge of the orthopedic market, including understanding of surgical procedures and equipment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively engage and influence customers.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time-management and organizational skills.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
