The Client is seeking temporary employment services for a legal support position.
The incumbent will be reviewing and compiling hardcopies of official records to prepare them for a large archival project. These materials must be organized according to type, cleared of any duplicates, and reviewed for any anomalies. The nature of the documents and the official status of the records prescribes the legal support background of the position.
The incumbent will work with attorneys and records managers to trouble-shoot questions that arise from the document review. Incumbent will also provide miscellaneous assistance as required.
There are 35 years of materials: on average there are 15 binders per year, containing monthly Commission meeting materials, public hearing materials, and public meeting materials
Limited hardcopy clean-up would include removing staples, separately copying post-it notes attached to sheets, moving any pages and notes from the pocket of binder and include in the materials, and re-sizing any non-letter-sized documents.
