Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Laser Table Operator to become an integral part of our team! You will operate machines to transmute materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret specifications, engineered drawings, and manufacturing aids
  • Effectively evaluate tooling, fixtures, and personnel to estimate workflow and scheduling.
  • Work with production to oversee and execute labor hours in a timely manner
  • Assist Plant Manager with supervision, training, and coordinating activities of all workers on the following using various software and workflow processing
  1. Plasma Table
  2. Fiber Table
  3. Break Press
  4. Pipe Profiler
  • Set up and operate machinery to flatten, temper, and reconfigure raw materials
  • Adjust machine gauges to reduce product defects
  • Monitor machine cycles to avoid equipment issues or failures
  • Review rolling orders and blueprints to verify product specifications
  • Calculate and record daily production numbers
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to use basic math to analyze information and measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of Bystronic Cutting Laser Machine 3015 or equal a strong plus
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or other related fields
  • Knowledge of raw material such as thickness and by different allow
  • Familiarity with manufacturing blueprints
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle physical workload, lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift and be able to move up and down the machine
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Able to operate a forklift
  • able to operate an overhead crane

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
