Electrical Service Technician

Your role as a Junior Electrical Service Technician will involve providing maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial electrical systems, assisting with training apprentices, and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to effectively communicate and recommend service/install solutions for customers based on their needs.

• Willingness to invest in tools used in the service of electrical equipment.

• Willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes.

• Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder

• Low Voltage/High Voltage work

• Understanding and communication of the benefits of preventative maintenance

• Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly, ideas, and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers.

• Willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.

• Experience in training and mentoring apprentices and other junior service technicians

• Operate scissors and genie lifts in a safe manner.

Desired Qualifications:

• Tech School certificate

• OSHA Certified

• Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining required tools for the position

• Arriving at job sites on time and reporting to dispatcher

• Operating company vehicle as needed.

• Following instructions from supervisor and/or dispatcher

• Reporting problems with company tools or vehicle promptly

• Communicating with customers and collecting C.O.D. on maintenance visits as directed

• Training and instructing apprentices and junior technicians as requested.
