Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Representative - Software / Computer Hardware to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. Job Location: Elgin, IL.

Overview:

Elarasys Worldwide and sister company IT Hardware Plus are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Computer Hardware and Software sales individual to sell the HPE, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Fortinet, Cisco and IBM product lines. We work with corporate data centers of mid-range and large businesses, supplying both new and pre-owned servers, storage, routers, switches, etc, at great savings!

We are a Silver Business Parther with both HPE and Lenovo. Our expertise in the HPE HyperConverged solution has earned us recognition and leads from HPE.

Responsibilities:

Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
Prospect and contact potential customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
Create sales material to present to customers

Qualifications:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
Must be persistent at opening doors and developing relationships
Your knowledge of data center servers, storage and networking will enable you to quickly connect and succeed with our customer base
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented

What We Offer:

Competitive market based salary plus commission
Total earnings annually can exceed $250,000 for a motivated, successful sales person

Both businesses sell servers, memory, storage, network routers, switches, etc, from the leading manufacturers including IBM, HP, Dell, Oracle (Sun), and others. One company specializes in quality, pre-owned equipment. The second business is an IBM Advanced Business Partner representing new IBM equipment X Series, P Series, and storage. We cover the Midwest for new business needs and globally for pre-owned data center hardware.
