Job Responsibilities

●     Greets clients, welcomes and directs them appropriately

●     Notifies providers of client arrival

●     Uses professional integrity and discretion in all communication with clients and providers and all employees

●     Collects and distributes phone messages, email messages, and other inquiries in person or online

●     Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries

●     Maintains security by following procedures (computers, doors, lights, files, paperwork), monitoring who is in the building, and instructing especially new clients about procedures

●     Takes payments

●     Keeps a safe, clean reception area that is professional, complying with industry and office expectations for privacy and discretion

●     Supports continuity and team identity by documenting and communication actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

●     Serves as a communication liaison by offering communication verbally and by note, email, text, or phone between and among EPS employees

Work Hours and Compensation

Reception is needed while the office is open. With a variety of providers, this means major holidays are taken collectively but vacation schedules will vary. Reception services are needed 7:45am-5:15pm daily. This schedule is open to some negotiation, especially if it is filled by more than one person.

 

Compensation is currently hourly with seasonal bonuses available based on performance and availability.

Education and Experience Requirements

Specific licensing or degree is not required

 

Helpful experience includes: phone messaging systems; computer navigation skills with programs and internet-based systems; database navigation; experience with insurance companies and practices; University/College education; handwriting - given the nature of our business, it is often necessary to write notes by hand and deliver them personally
