Job Description:
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product Administrator contributes to the success of the the cross-functional NAEP Item Development (ID) Operations team under the direction of Senior management. This role has accountability for independent projects that directly support goals of technical aspects of NAEP item development work products and deliverables for the NAEP client, committees and various NAEP Alliance partners. The Product Administrator effectively leads, coordinates and oversees assigned tasks or projects for the NAEP Technical team. This is a hands-on role that is deeply involved in the daily operations, goals, and troubleshooting activities of the technical aspects of the ID project. Advanced IBIS knowledge is preferred. English/Spanish fluency is required for this position.
End-to-End Product Management & Delivery
Manage independent projects associated with the planning and production of non-content aspects of Assessment Development and Production processes.
Lead execution against the product work plan objectives for assigned product in English and Spanish, to include quality reviews of assessment content and supporting materials, creation and review of electronic review packages of assessment content and data for external NAEP clients and committees, and technical support for assessment specialists.
Establish project schedules, risk plans, and communications plans for assigned areas
Recommend modifications to technical and operational assessment processes; plan, administer, and coordinate the implementation of technical assessment production processes and projects on behalf of NAEP ID in conjunction with senior leadership.
Provide support for response to special requests and rush projects from either client or NAEP leadership.
Serve as program resource to partners and cross-functional staff, giving advice, interpreting program guidelines and attending meetings as requested.
Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and partners clearly and effectively.
Contract/Service Level Agreement (SLA) Fulfillment
Participate in defining the annual scope of work, timetable, and work plan specifications.
Support the resolution of assessment development and statistical operational issues.
Conduct regular functional, performance, and integration QA/QC testing of assessment content in English and Spanish integrated with the NAEP assessment platform.
o Track and document QA issues, defects and resolution details using JIRA, ServiceNow and Confluence.
o Employ testing criteria in the review and approval of evolving business requirements, functional specifications, and platform design.
o Provide timely and relevant communication on test findings to key stakeholders.
Identify process improvements to increase productivity, save money, and improve customer satisfaction.
Train and guide a cross-functional team to ensure internal goals and Service Level Agreements for assigned products and tasks are fulfilled.
Provide regular status updates on day-to-day operations for assigned work products.
