We are looking for a Channel Development Executive to join our team in Arkansas.

Reports to: CGO

Job Summary:

The Channel Development Executive (CDE) is responsible for enabling the sales and growth of Edafio business through indirect channels.  The successful CDE establishes and grows partner relationships to expand market share and create referrals that can be closed by the new business development team.  This role identifies high-value partnerships with both referral partners and select OEM’s, and develops strategies for converting those opportunities into productive and profitable relationships.  This is accomplished through:

  • A willingness to prospect new potential partners 
  • Representing Edafio in all activities associated with channel support
  • Ability to work with referral partners that are not technically adept to determine potential candidates in their client or referral pools
  • Coordinating and growing Edafio’s relationship and long-term planning with select OEM’s such as Microsoft, HP, Aruba, etc.
  • A prospecting rigor that starts with action rather than reaction
  • A willingness to cold call, even when there is a strong pipeline
  • A mindset that new business selling is about consistency, not perfection
  • An approach that places the Client’s needs first

Supervisory Responsibilities:


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop channel sales program as an incubator for strong leads that match our target client profile
  • Identify, prospect and onboard potential referral source channel partners in local markets where Edafio operates
  • Coordinate appropriate education efforts for channel partners that focus on correct alignment of leads 
  • Manage and align expectations with channel partners
  • Development of process of transitioning leads to internal Edafio Business Development Executives to ensure a proper fit for our offerings
  • Coordinate channel partner terms with referral sources and other channel partners
  • Coordinate and develop relationships with select OEM’s to develop them into strong referral sources
  • Meet or exceed yearly quota targets for expansion of channel partner network and business developed through channel program

Required Skills and Experience:

 The ideal candidate has a track record of success in the following areas:

  • Experience with the nuances of indirect sales through channels
  • Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of outside technology sales experience (customer-facing)
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, build a pipeline, and achieve a consistent channel revenue stream
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • A willingness to set proper expectations with channel partners, even if the message is not the one they want to hear
  • Preferred candidate will have prior experience in IT Managed Services OR experience with OEM channel sales
  • A demonstrated ability to work well with colleagues and see a way through challenges 
  • Ability to develop the channel while keeping the overall goals of Edafio out front
