Royal Gorge Cabins at Echo Canyon River Expeditions is accepting applications for a seasonal Hospitality Services position. This is a full time seasonal position starting at $19 to $22 per hour, working March through early September. The job includes assisting guests with rafting and lodging reservations, checking in guests, and assisting with property management tasks and responsibilities. Applicants should have experience in the hospitality industry. You must be comfortable and confident working in a team environment and have good computer and communication skills. Punctuality and reliability are a must.

Responsibilities

• Strong guest service over the phone and in-person
• Assist with general property management - performing routine security checks, cleanliness and maintenance on all properties
• Follow and implement protocol, procedures, and standards
• Proficient with on-site technology
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Troubleshoot / problem solve skills
• Assist with lodging supply inventory
• Assistance in other departments as needed

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Background in lodging and / or hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with computers

Preferred:

• 2+ years of hospitality leadership or related experience

Physical Requirements to Perform Job Duties

• Ability to stand and walk
• Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, and squat, repetitively
• Sitting in an office environment for extended periods of time
• Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Visually inspect lodging units, equipment, and staff for compliance
• Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions: Adverse weather
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
