DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
  • Board Certified and Licensed as a Behavior Analyst certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board to provide supervision
  • 1+ years experience working with children with Autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, or ability to learn independently
  • Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance to travel in the North Texas area

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A BCBA - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SPECIALIST?

As Easterseals Central Texas' BCBA - Behavior Health Specialist, you lead the Interdisciplinary Autism Treatment Team, providing evaluation, treatment, and consultation services. Rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis, your role emphasizes crafting tailored programs to enhance the lives of children with autism and their families. Individualized treatment plans focus on daily activities, leveraging strengths to overcome acknowledged weaknesses. Integrating the client's natural support system, including family and friends, ensures the generalization of skills to real-life situations. Emphasizing consistent practice and repetition, your work prioritizes accountability, demonstrating measurable changes to evaluate progress and ensure effective interventions that significantly impact lives.
