To maintain records of routine accounting transactions while assisting in the preparation of financial and operating reports while assisting in the analysis and interpretation of accounting records for use by management
Responsible for quality and conformance of product to customer specifications per control plans utilizing TS16949 & ISO14001 documented systems; authority to stop non-conforming processes and report same to supervisor, Quality Assurance and/or Engineering department representative
Analyzes, verifies and posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
Analyzes, verifies and corrects accounting entries as needed
Performs reconciliation of complex transactions
Acts as lead to less senior members of the accounting department
Monitor production, scrap and labor reporting
Prepare various weekly and monthly financial reports for management use
Assist assistant controller in directing budget and cost controls, financial analysis, and accounting procedures
Reconcile inventory, analyze inventory costs and bill of materials as well as making cost saving recommendations.
Manages financial statement preparation
Organizes and plans auditing schedules
Assist in preparation and administration of policy and procedures manual for accounting department
Reconcile and analyze capital and tooling projects
Monthly close procedures and analysis
Prepare any other costing projects assigned in a timely manner
Timely prepare general ledger reconciliations and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual minimum controls
5S and other activities as assigned by management
Support and comply with all TS16949 & ISO14001 procedures and work instructions
Support a safe and healthful work environment that is free of recognized hazards for all employees, contractors and visitors.
Cooperate with all local, state and federal agencies, such as OSHA or the EPA, in the event of an inspection.
Know, follow and enforce all applicable SH&E Rules, Policies and Procedures.
Help manage Safety Performance Measurables such as Incident Rate, Monthly Inspection Results and EOS scores. Overall performance to the measurable elements of our SH&E system are part of annual performance reviews.
4-year degree in Accounting/Finance
