Technical Writer JOB/POSITION SUMMARY:
Technical Writer that is energetic, motivated self-starter to support responses to Request for Proposals (RFP), technical papers, and other documentation. Candidate must be reliable, dependable and trustworthy. Candidate must demonstrate a general commitment to excellence and a dedication to producing quality work results. The successful candidate for this position will research, format, write and edit documentation in support of proposals and technical papers. Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
Research, analyze, and compose technical information and ensure the use of proper technical terminology.
Provide technical writing for program and operational documentation information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Produce technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and/or publication, as appropriate to the requirements.
Provide documentation in presentation-ready quality output using advanced word processing, Power Point or desktop publishing software.
Review content of technical documentation for quality.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years’ experience to include at least 1 year of technical or scientific documentation work.
