Northpoint has an opening for a Manager of IT which will support our multistate portfolio of facilities. POSITION SUMMARY: Northpoint is growing and we need an organized, service oriented, self-sufficient team member with a proven track record of success in IT infrastructure and operations. This person is responsible for the strategy, implementation and operations for systems, IT service desk, corporate and patient facilities and supporting our employees. The Manager of IT will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked hardware, software and associated operating systems. This position will work closely with internal business partners and external service providers to ensure that services are aligned with business objectives. The position requires the ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs while maintaining an enterprise-wide view. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Work in partnership with business leads and IT vendors to provide highly reliable, secure and cost effective infrastructure and IT operationsImplement best practices that support integrated and progressive infrastructure to best meet current and future business needsEnsure proactive monitoring, capacity management and root cause analysis practicesMonitor, measure and report on performance against service level objectives, customer satisfaction and financial goalsEnsure appropriate systems and service continuity plans are defined, in place, and exercised regularlyContinuously improve operations and performance across all service areasManage suppliers that provide hardware, software, maintenance and support for technical and complex systemsManage Northpoint IT operations at the facility level including security, hardware, HVAC and other aspects of the physical office needsLead large mission-critical technology projects Coordinate communications at all levels of employees, customers, executives, vendors and to diverse constituencies (technical and non-technical)Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies and architectures for improving or further leveraging these systemsDesign and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity plansIntegrate servers, including database, e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systemsCreate and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service recordsProvide after normal business hours support Adhere to all Company policies and proceduresMaintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and proceduresPerform other related duties and special projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field requiredMinimum of 8 years’ Systems experience including 3+ years of system design and architectureExperience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related productsMust be a hands on leader who can get deep into technical details on several levels with direct and indirect teamsExperience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practicesExperience with PCI Level 1 security and related processes required; Experience with electronic payment processing and settlement is a plusOperations experience including capacity planning and forecasting, risk management, including response and recovery, and business continuity requiredFlexible to changing infrastructure and architecture that arise to meet the needs of the organizationEffective budget and contract management skillsKnowledge of public and private cloud architectures, such as Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V, KVMExperience with enterprise third party vendors, such as EMR systems, Cisco, MicrosoftExperience with Windows Operating Systems including patch management strategiesIn-depth experience with at least one scripting language (Java, VBscript, PowerShell, bash)Tech savvy and strong computer skills; proficient in the use of MS Office Suite Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsHighly self-motivated, keen attention to detail, and proven project management skills PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Comfortable in a matrix organization with a dual reporting structure Demonstrated ability to influence executives, senior leaders and partners and work comfortably across organizational boundaries and geographiesPossess a high sense of urgency and good judgmentExcellent communication skills both written and verbal Enthusiasm, passion for working with people, and an internal drive to execute on goals High degree of professionalism, personal integrity, with a commitment to achieve team successAbility to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinkerExcellent follow up skills and attention to detailWillingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment Excellent critical thinking skills; quickly and effectively identify and resolve problematic situationsComfortable analyzing information and dealing with complexitySocial ease and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with a variety of different people and personality typesAbility to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalismAbility to effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct supervisor for indirect, contract staff PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
