Workbox is seeking a full-time Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing role is an important one in the next phase of Workbox’s growth. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position that interacts with a broad group of individuals and requires a self-directed person with strong attention to detail and pride in final product quality.
The Director of Marketing will report directly to the CEO of Workbox and drive external brand initiatives within the firm. They will be responsible for creating and organizing marketing content, building promotional material, and offering strategic direction on outsourced marketing verticals such as SEO, CRO, and social media. This individual will work directly with the CEO to drive organic and paid traffic to Workbox’s real estate and services businesses. A successful Director of Marketing will understand the Workbox brand differentiation and know how to amplify our message through a variety of mediums. They will listen to the market and pride themselves on creating high quality final products that show the company in the best light.
While the individual tasks may be varied, the goal is to create a consistent brand message across multiple platforms that resonates with prospective customers and highlights our business differentiation. You might spend the day working with the sales team collecting feedback from prospective customers, creating a marketing strategy for a new location opening, or working directly with executive management to help build a long-term strategy.
KEY JOB DUTIES:
Own the marketing arm of the business, while working with the CEO to ensure brand consistency.
Leverage outsourced marketing provider resources to maximize brand awareness growth.
Create a strategic plan to boost brand awareness in Chicago and beyond across multiple business lines.
Build high quality promotional material to help the company’s sales function accelerate customer acquisition.
Work with multiple internal functions such as operations, sales, etc. to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Develop strategies to amplify our message across multiple channels.
• 5+ years’ experience working in a marketing capacity with exposure across multiple marketing verticals
• Able to communicate vision with executive team and work in collaboration to maximum impact
• Extraordinary organizational skills and ability to communicate
• Uncanny ability to meet deadlines and get things done
Willing to get your hands dirty one minute and think big picture the next
Meticulous attention to detail and design perspective with the understanding that much of the output that this individual will be creating will be our prospective customers' first impression of Workbox.
Knowledge of traditional coworking and the startup community.
Experience in early-stage company culture that is fast paced
